The reason I want to go to college is because I want to earn a title. I want all the work I have done up to this point to mean something. Sure a diploma or degree would be great to have for when i'm looking for job opportunities. But working strenuously for nearly 14 years only to find out you didn't make it into college seems like a huge waste of time and energy. I just want all the work I have done to have served a purpose in the end. I've used this analogy before; its like when you saved up a lot of money for that one car you have kept your eye on for a very long time, only to find out that it was sold a week ago. That's what I want, for my work to be worth the time I've put into it.

The coloration is actually pretty cool, and I know what you mean when you want your work to mean something. I hate it when a plan comes down to absolutely nothing
