LSSA experience!

LSSA has changed the way I have viewed college life. I remember thinking, when I was young, that college was all about going to classes everyday and learn all about whatever the class was about. Everyday it being the same lesson with just a few things added on. It would be like the professors or doctors beating the information into your head. LSSA  has taught me the values of free time, what a typical day in the life of a Liberal Arts university is like. I've learned that college is fun! Although there are times you have to buckle down and really work to succeed in your courses. But studying for those can be fun or interesting too, if you study with friends. My perception has really been changed in a positive manner towards the Liberal Arts college experience. So far I have really enjoyed my time here and I believe it will only get better, well I hope it will.

    Glad you really enjoy it. I used to think the same way, so I know what you are saying. College is pretty awesome and definitely interesting. Frankly,some of the work can also be fun at times. That's my opinion at least.

    I have definatly learned to enjoy every min. of free time as well, especially since it feels like we have only had a couple of mins total! Our time here will definatly get better, did you see that we go to six flags!? No class on Sunday, enough said. I am impressed with the way you handled all of that criticism in class today. You will be a better writer because of it.

    I'm cherishing my free time now, seeing how as I thought it was limited before coming here. I can tell where you're coming from when you said that what you thought college was like. I had always thought that College was either going to be one of two things: a nightmare of learning, or a giant party van thing like in the movies

    I agree with you in one hundred percent. I always had a different perspective before i came to lssa. I somewhat used to think that college like how it is in movies, but im over that now. LSSA has really changed my view point of what to expect from college and all of the difficult challenges that are to come.
