The number one reason I want to go to go to college is so I can
become a teacher and help students learn. I always new I would go to college
but I didn’t know what I would be until my sister helped me figure it out. I would
help her with homework and teacher her work before she started learning it in
her school. So by the time she got into first grade my sister was reading at a
fourth grade level. I loved teaching her so much that I decided that’s what I would
love to do in my life so I started taking a teaching class at my school. When I
get to college I am going to keep taking early childhood education and get my
degree to teach and hopefully help other students like I did my sister.
That's awesome! My dad's a teacher, except on the middle school level. Do you have a specific subject in mind that you want to teach, or is it just teaching in general? Either way, it's good that you know what you want to do
ReplyDeleteYou're sister is so cute! I think it's really cool that you want to pursue a career in education. I would assume you're in Mrs. Reiley's teaching class at SHS :) It's obvious from the blog that you are very passionate about teaching, therefore, I think you'd be a natural. Good job!
