College

My dream is to be the concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Because of this, college is a must. As of now, I would say my playing is alright, but in order to be in the New York Philharmonic, I need more than "alright." College, like violin, is hardwork. You need dedication and discipline to succeed. The great thing about college is, I can choose my major. I'll major in violin performance, and for at least four years, I'll get the concentrated, focused training that I need to make my dream come true. This will mean at least 3 hours of practicing per day (1 hour of scales, 1 hour of etudes, and 1 hour of concerto practice), but if that's what it takes, bring it!
